We firmly believe that finance can be a force for good and that we should do what we can for people less fortunate than ourselves. For this reason we have set up the Photolease Foundation and are pledging to give 5% of our annual profits to established and proven Microfinance charities.
It is our intention to select projects where Microfinance is empowering poor people to find their own long term solution to poverty. We have identified Friendship Bridge who help impoverished women in Guatemala as being an ideal partner for Photolease. Having visited their operation last year we have seen the excellent work they are doing and the positive impact they are proving to be in impoverished communities.
