From 1st October 2016 non-regulated agreements will be with Photolease Limited. All regulated consumer hire and regulated consumer credit agreements will be with Photo & General Finance Limited.
Information about Photolease Limited’s customers will be stored and processed by Photo & General Finance Limited to the extent that is reasonably necessary for Photo & General Finance Limited’s computer systems to be used for the purposes of communications with you, the customer. It will also be used by both companies for the purposes of Photolease Limited entering into an agreement with you, management of the agreement, statistical, marketing and insurance purposes. When you make an application for our service as a sole trader or on behalf of a partnership we need to know your name, date of birth, marital status, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, property and mortgage details, employment details and bank details.
When you make an application for our service on behalf of a limited company as well as company details we also need to know your name, date of birth, postal address, E-mail address, telephone number, property and mortgage details.
We gather this information to allow us to process your application and for credit control purposes. The relevant information is then used by us, and our agents for credit control purposes, to process your application and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the conduct of it and the provision of the service in general.
In considering your application, we will search your record at Credit Reference Agencies. They will add to their record about you, details of our search and your application and this will be seen by other organisations that make searches. This and other information about you and those with whom you are linked financially may be used to make credit decisions about you and other members of your household.
We do not usually use credit scoring or other automated decision making systems when assessing your application. We may add to your record with the credit reference agencies details of your agreement with us, any payments you make under it and any default or failure to keep to its terms. These records will be shared with other organisations and may be used and searched by us and them to:-
consider applications for credit and credit related services such as insurance for you and any associated person, trace debtors, recover debts, prevent or detect money laundering and fraud and to manage your account. It is important that you provide us with accurate information. We may check your details with fraud prevention agencies and if you provide false or inaccurate information or we suspect fraud, this information may be recorded. Fraud prevention agency records will be shared with other organisations to help make decisions on credit, motor, household, life and other insurance proposals or claims for you and members of your household.
We will use personal information about you which we acquire in connection with any application you make to us, or any agreement you enter into with us, to manage your agreement and for statistical or market research purposes. We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party, without your consent except in the following circumstances:
